David + Jen White

The work changes in conversation.

David makes films. Jen paints. They begin in different places and meet in the same questions: What are we missing? Whose experience has not yet entered the frame?

In the edit, Jen often notices the feeling beneath a scene and opens another way into it. David brings structure, movement, and a filmmaker’s instinct for the story taking shape. Their ongoing conversation helps the work hold more than one point of view.

The feeling beneath the surface.

Jen makes art the way some people keep a journal: to work through the dark parts, talk back to her demons, and capture any light she can. If something here feels familiar, that’s on purpose. You’re not the only one surviving the madness. She’s right here with you.

She works across acrylic, oil, watercolor, and drawing, following the medium that best carries the feeling.
