01 / The human context

Before the first
conversation.

Choosing a family-law firm is personal. Before someone reaches out, they may be trying to understand an unfamiliar process, weigh their options, or simply get a sense of who will be listening.

We partnered with Sled Dog Studios on a brand identity, website, divorce series, mediation film, and client testimonials for JR Law Group. Together, those pieces introduce the practice through both its expertise and the experiences of the people it serves.

02 / The films

Make room for
the person.

The educational films explain. The testimonials listen. Each has a different job, but both begin with the experience of someone facing a consequential change.

Client testimonials · JR Law GroupWatch on YouTube

Beyond a recommendation.

A testimonial becomes more meaningful when there’s a person inside it. Our interview approach centers on what life felt like before, how support showed up, and what changed afterward—with care around the private details that do not need to become part of the story.

Mediation film

An introduction to another path.

The mediation film gives the practice space to explain its approach in a human voice, helping viewers get acquainted with an option they may not understand.

Divorce series

A little more understanding.
One film at a time.

A series creates room to take the subject in smaller pieces. Rather than asking one film to explain everything, the divorce series gives individual questions the attention they need.

03 / Identity + website

The story needs
somewhere to live.

The films are one part of a larger introduction. A visual identity makes the practice recognizable. The website brings the work together, giving people a place to learn about the firm, hear from others, and take the next step when they’re ready.

For us, the connection matters: what someone hears in a film should feel at home in the experience around it.

Different disciplines.
A shared purpose.

Sled Dog Studios led the brand identity and web design. Know the Soul led the web build. Film production was shared between the two studios, bringing design, technical craft, and storytelling into the same conversation.
